Facebook

This meme is a continuation of previous ones that were in response to the outrage over Facebook changing its layout once again. It relates to the concept of the nano story in Wasik’s And Then There’s This book because this meme will eventually die out until Facebook make other changes to their layout again. This meme mocks how Facebook created two newsfeed in one page. I honestly do not understand why Facebook changed its layout to having two newsfeed on one page. There was a previous meme that was created before that says: “Facebook Changes Again! Can you hear a funny noise coming from earth? Oh don’t worry, it happens every time Facebook changes.”

  1. Facebook is about to totally change the way profiles work with a new timeline feature. I'm really curious to see how the public responds, and it will probably launch many memes. I signed up to get the feature early, and absolutely love it. However, I think that even if people love it, they might still try to find and complain about even the smallest flaws because that's become the norm. Whenever there's even the smallest change to Facebook there's a huge outrage from the public. I think it's just become a meme to complain about Facebook changes, even if there really isn't anything to complain about. It's also pointless, because no one ever deletes their account. They just think it's fun to complain.
